# Non-traditional marketing

All these engagement strategies stem from a user-centric approach. We continuously solicit feedback and ideas from our community about what they’d love to see next. In fact, many of the Buddy personas and bot features were inspired by community suggestions during our early brainstorming sessions. By putting users at the center of our innovation, we ensure that the content and features we create actually resonate with them.

It’s important to note that Mega Buddies is not doing traditional marketing; instead, we are building a world where the marketing is the product and the product is the marketing. In other words, the fun content is the utility, and that genuine fun is what brings in more people (more on our growth strategy in Section 6). By the time someone mints or buys a Buddy, they likely already feel connected to it because they’ve “met” the character online or played with our community tools. This is how we transform holders into true community members, and casual observers into passionate participants. The Buddy characters and the interactive platforms we’ve built around them are the bridge that welcomes newcomers into our cult-like movement.

Finally, our official website deserves a mention as part of community engagement. Rather than a sterile landing page, we’ve built our site as a vibrant, retro-themed hub for all things Mega Buddies. It’s rich with pixel art, easter eggs, and a dash of 90s internet nostalgia (you might even find a hidden webpage or two if you look carefully!). The website serves as a centralized portal where newcomers can learn about the project’s story and roadmap, existing community members can find links to our tools (like the Ambassador Bot dashboard, quest board, AI chat, etc.), and everyone can enjoy the thematic experience that feels like stepping into an old-school video game. In essence, the website itself is an engagement tool – reinforcing our brand’s personality and immersing visitors in the Mega Buddies universe from the moment they arrive.

We don't mention small campaigns such as [Buddy Quest](https://zealy.io/cw/megabuddies/questboard/fc95532f-9e58-430c-906f-9ca8a5bbfa77), Buddy Game Night, and so on, but they are held all the time! Follow the official channels to find out more about them!
